Part I: Question#2-EFFECTS OF BERLIN CONFERENCE ON AFRICANS AND EUROPEANS

The Berlin conference and the imperialism of Africa affected both the colonized Africans and the European colonizers. Europeans got more land and more natural resources for their industrialization. The Africans got less land, and were restricted to many other things. They had very negative effects. The Africans got affected in many ways such things like, many hundreds of thousands of Africans died of warfare. Also, African traditional cultures broke down because of assimilation, and colonization. Assimilation is when people of a different background come to see themselves as a part of a larger national family. Obviously, the Europeans got benefited more from the Berlin conference.
